Mylonas - Assyrtiko (ah-SEER-tee-koh)

Attiki, Greece. Rich, full-bodied with lively acidity, interspersed with aromas of citrus fruits and herbs with intense mineral elements. A fine wine with a long, persistent aftertaste. It accompanies enriched seafood, fatty fish, white meats, rich pasta with butter or cream, as well as salads with an emphasis on starchy products, or traditional lemon dishes of Greek cuisine such as lamb fricassee, pork with celeriac and magieritsa-style soups.
